every year at waitrose you get a percentage of your total earning of that year for each indivisual "partner"

last year was 15 percent i think.. dont know what it will be this year.

£1700 , sounds ok but out compnay is split into seperate divisions and the rest of the company got twice as much :mad:

though it is paid 1 week before xmas it is referred to as a performance bonus not a xmas bonus

I got a day off work, because we won some national awards.

A day off work is worth about... £78 in terms of salary/working day.

Mind you I've already upgraded to a 8800gtx & C2D + paid for my yearly golf subscription so it's not all been wasted

It is annoying that the taxman does take a lump out of your gratuities though

I was seriosuly suprised I got one:O

I worked from the end of march till mid August at aa steel laser cutting place, I was putting in silly hours becuase they needed the work doing, I was doing basic 40 hours then most week another 10-15 on top. I didnt go back for my Christmas holidays and wasnt expecting a thing, I got a letter from them just before christmas, It said over the summer I had put in 210 hours overtime over the summer and they appriciated my flexibility and hard work... And stuck a cheque in for £420 all tax and everything free. That made my Christmas!

It's not really an expensive car (MG Zt 190+) but the tyres are (@£150 each, 225.45.18) and the service is £520 + new discs and pads all round and a new clutch. That's the only replacements I've had on it since I've had it, so it's not that bad

£2,000 Xmas Bonus + some nice vino (This was a pleasant unexpected surprise) and a payrise (not sure how much yet) in late Jan + I get my bi-annual performance bonus in Jan

I get my lunch and travel expenses paid, if that counts...then again that wont start till next week, so it probably doesn't
