Scythe Infinity

Load 55 degs

Sorry, did'nt say that mine were load

e6600 - 402 x 9 = 3.6 GHz @ 1.51V - think lower actually
Watercooled via Aquaextreme MP-05, Thermochill Pa120.2 etc

core 0 = 44c
core 1 = 43c

Idle is 32c/33c

e6300 as per sig

orthos small ffts running 2 copies (dont forget to do this)

100% load =59c max

idel =45 c

Why are you running two copies of Orthos?

maybe he thinks orthos is exactly like prime95 and only tests one core at a time and you have to set affinity for it *shrugs*

6600 = 4ghz 1.55v

Idle 41oC
Load 58oC

Fails after just 3 hours of prime.

24/7 use

3.7ghz 1.45v

Idle: 34oC
Load: 47oC

E4300 using Intel Stock Cooler & 92mm fan ontop.

Used Orthos on load, used Coretemp for temps.

334x9=3.0GHz, 1.35vcore 32C idle, 67C load
350x9=3.15GHz 1.425vcore 35C idle, 76C load
356x9=3.2GHz, 1.475vcore 30C idle, 81 load

e6400 - 427x8 = 3.41 Ghz @ 1.5v (taken from speedfan)

Cooler - Ac 7 pro

Core 0 = 58
Core 1 = 58

Ive seen coretemp hit 83c or so in a past setup, I think people are too cautious. Im more worried about excess volts, in the bios my settings are 1.5v +100mv so I must be approaching the limits but I think the bios allows another .1v

I agree, 80C isn't the end of the world, especially as for most people you won't be using both cores at 100% on a 24 hour basis.

I wouldn't go any higher than 1.5v though without at least a better cooler.

E6300 @ 3.15Ghz AC F7 Pro

1.4 v

Idle

Core 0 = 28-30
Core 1 = 27-29

Orthos Load

Core 0 = 40-43
Core 1 = 40-42

Room temp 20.8 at time of test.

System is fairly quiet, just 1 80mm case fan at the moment.

I'll post some screenies tonight but my new water kit is keeping my E6400 (def speed) at 21'C idle and 25'C under load :D very impressed with it, Mobo temp is 34'c

HIGH!!!

just got an e6600 and the temps are just redicilous hitting 70+ at load.. :(

think i need a new cooler..

any suggestions??

i have the scythe ninja with medium speed fan..

check that the mounting thing you screwed on is not hitting the capacitors around your board, i have a p5W-DH and had to cut off some of this so it wasn't resting on some caps. my temps are still higher than expected after doing this though :confused:

E6600 @ 3.6ghz with 1.4125v
Core 0 = 46c at load
Core 1 = 48c at load

Watercooled with an AquaXtreme mp-05 cpu block, pa120-2 rad and laing ddc ultra pump
