post your Conroe temps!

I Ferret

let the cpu reach 85ºC and then see what happens :)
( I´m almost 100% sure it went in a "throttling" state)

Do you know why this is? Perhaps Coretemp is wrong?
Take it to the E4300 overclocking thread mate in the CPU section as there are far more experienced people in there.

Offhand, you need to enable Intel Speedstep in your BIOS.

Right idea, but it's TM1/TM2 you need to enable in the BIOS.

On Arctic Freezer Pro 7. Does hit 75 on a few of the Orthos tests, but avg is 69. Idle 49c

The airflow in my Wavemaster case is very poor unfortunatly. Temps drop by about 20c when its open. Going to have to get watercooling soon.

FSB 1475
Multi 9x
Vcore 1.35
CPU VTT 1.45

Does anyone else find that there cpu runs hotter under vista? Mine goes up a couple of degrees and the temps seem a bit more uneven. Does not seem to happen on full load though.

--65--/--80--80-- Throttle
--60--/--75--75-- Hot
--55--/--70--70-- Warm
--50--/--65--65-- N
--45--/--60--60-- O
--40--/--55--55-- R

--30--/--45--45-- A
--25--/--40--40-- L

That's excellent - they should put that in a sticky, it would prevent all those 'is my temp too high' threads. It's exceptionally easy to read too.

Very good in my opinion. Thanks.

Reviving an old thread, but was looking for a comparison temp for my E6400 on custom water cooling.

Temps seem ok, but since this thread is soooo old, what temps are you guys getting on the new D-Tek and swiftech blocks.
