I don’t see any issues with that build.
The heat wrap offers a layer of air between pipe and the surface, the surface temp and therefore radiated heat is lower to protect the components in the engine bay also a benefit from keeping the exhaust gases hotter. OEMs do similar by cladding hot stuff with a glass mat and closing in with an integral thin wall shield to stop water rain etc wetting the cloth causing corrosion.

Cheaper than ceramic coating.

The intake is gold to help reflect any remaining heat from the metal intake, a heat shield would probably better though as that will again reduce heatsoak in traffic rather than just radiated heat.
