Was an F40 there last time I went (posted it in here), which ticked off me seeing all my all star cars in the metal. Would have loved to have seen the 918 up close though.

Reasonably, living in west Manchester so it was only a short blast up the M6 and across. They also had a very interesting deep purple Aventador behind it, believe it was a supercar dealer that brought them down.

The strap looks like it is across the bottom of the wheel as well, and not the top. Nothing much stopping it from sliding down so the wheel wouldn't be restrained.

Is there any actual benefit to have a bonnet open backwards like that? I imagine it makes it far more awkward to work on.

Easier to ensure it can open. Some car designs would have to be compromised otherwise to let the bonnet open against the windscreen / a pillar.

Are you talking about the gt40? If so then I can’t see how else the rear would open up?
