Averaged only 50 miles per week usage over its life thus far, whilst I understand some super cars are not used greatly,it seems such a waste for it to be used so relatively little.
I like the half arsed attempt to display a front plate![]()
Can't fault you for it either mate, I can understand somebody wanting a supercar but to use it infrequently defeats the object imo.7000 miles in the Ferrari this year, it gets used, not as much now the roads are getting salted however. But it was purchased to be driven and enjoyed, not a garage queen.![]()

To be fair, my boss with his 458 had the same attitude - its sold now afaik - use it! - I reckon the 458 has that allure to be driven!![]()
Drove a 2018 F-Pace Prestige (2L turbo AWD 180BHP) to Dunkirk yesterday and overall was quite pleasant although Jaguar's infotainmen needs continued work.
The PDC system is also too sensitive. Driving on and off the car ferry was wtf as every 2 seconds the sensors go off. They also go off if you're near a high kerb. ON a car this size with high road clearance, this shouldn't happen.
The armrest is also too far back, my elbow rested on the very corner right at the front edge when seated comfortably.
Lane guidance is useless, no audible or vibration feedback, just a little thing on the cluster centre.
Performance from 180BHP seemed adequate and certainly hid the car's size and weight. Handling was rather good in Dynamic mode although in Sport mode the gearbox revs out longer which is pointless as there's no torque up that high and you need to shift up around 2500rpm to stay in the torque band and get decent movement.
I left the driving mode in Dynamic and gearbox in D instead of S due to the above. In Sport mode downshifts also blip the throttle. It just sounds like the 4 cylinder choking though every blip. Probably something that suits a 6cylinder engine better, or better yet, a naturally aspirated one.
There is no adjustment for the seatbelt height.

I had to google it to understand the placement; what a strange place indeed! The window control buttons are on the sill which is a stupid place to put window control buttons. Also means if a window is left open and it rains, the buttons will likely be shorted.
