The fact it’s narrow and tall probably makes it perfect for urban use. A proper motorway pursuit will use gas turbines anyway... in the helicopter!

Ferrari something or other!?

Surely any patrol car has to be ready to give it some beans though, they can't tell the crim to hold on while they call in a car with some range.

It's not long ago local bobbies would tootle about town in 1.1 Fiestas and Rover Metros. These weren't used for high speed Channel 5 police porn worthy pursuits.

The local units round here use 1l corsas. It's only the proper traffic police that have BMW and Skoda estates. Firearms use x5s.

The average cops in those i3s aren't even allowed to turn the blues & twos on. There are three tiers of police drivers, the usual detectivey types who just do house calls and whatnot, these are just average joes like you and me, the next ones up are the middle of the road guys who iirc are only allowed to use their lights in certain circumstances, and then there are the pursuit cops who are the hardcore drivers.

The ones in the red popo cars can do whatever they want, they're anti-terror cops.

Got overtaken by a Bentley Bentayga on the A130 in Essex a couple of hours ago. No picture, but then I don't suppose you'd want one - hideous looking thing.

A few moments later though I spied a new AM Vantage leaving off a slip road. So that made up for it

I'd love to see someone actually put a tiny exhaust like that on a big engine just for lols. Just to see what it sounds like. With the mufflers removed ofc.
