I don't get the US thing with having lawns look like a putting green. In the UK we seem to be going the other way and letting things grow wild. Much better for the environment and far less effort.

To be fair I have gardeners, but I like to look at a nice garden not make it look nice.

This is very much deliberate, it started with No Mow May and people have seen such an uptick in wildlife that many are dedicating portions of their gardens to it. It's fantastic.

This. There is a junction I use everyday to pull out onto a dual carriageway. Even in my x5 I had to pull my nose out into the flow of traffic in order to see if the road was clear. Never mind a normal height car.

Yep, the idea was great and for our gardens and stuff it was amazing, but whoever thought not mowing a roundabout for months was a good idea is an idiot.

Back in the day a Q plate used to represent a kit car or a stolen/recovered which couldn't be ID'd - unsure if that still stands now though.

Looking it up was first registered in 2019, but no tax details, could be imported? That would be strange?

I don’t know if it’s really a 2019 Audi, never owned one.

I really hope a bus/ambulance/fire truck tries to get through there and "corrects" that parking. I don't get how someone can think that's acceptable, should have their licence taken away imo.

What’s the point?

Can be for numerous reasons

- Heavily modified - engine, suspension, transmission and chassis changes. You see a lot of cars with engine swaps where technically they should be now on a Q plate reg
- Ex MOD vehicles
- Personal imports of oversea vehicles
- Cars missing its VIN number (stolen recovered etc)

Does something with a Q plate get a ULEZ exemption?

They don't need loopholes, apparently over 80% of the brand new cameras have already been vandalized, some brazenly cut down with an angle grinder in the more "rural" areas lol.
