Post Your Daily Encounter Pics Here

1966 Porka

This is what I'd drive if I were just a little bit cooler and a little bit richer. I am almost foaming at the mouth... <3

It's even wearing one of my favourite wheels of all time, the BBS E50.

edit: Holy ****! https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?p=8681252

Found in a swamp in Alabama and imported to the UK.

It now has a 3.2 litre air cooled flat 6 with Jenvey ITBs.

You win. Best daily encounter this thread has ever seen. No I will not argue. :p

Thanks for sharing, there were clues to tell you a gem was underneath.

930/964 is where I'd go if I could justify one (turbo with tea tray spoiler though). I found my older 996 was great to drive as it predates a lot of airbag protection so the A Column wasn't massive like modern cars.

No picture as it's not that interesting, however has anyone else noticed a growing number of vehicles with permanently attached roof tents in their area? I can think of at least 5 I see almost daily and wonder how often they are really used to compensate from the added weight and poor aero every day. Is it some form of new cult, the cheaper alternative to van life?

Tents or box's?
Box's yeah but been happening for quite a while

Massive foldable tents such as Tent Box (in fact the ones I have seen are all this brand). The entry level ones are £800+, seems a crazy for them to attached permanently.

Saw a right dirty

Impressive picture. I like how you managed to combine double exposure, out of focus, high ISO noise, and huge compression artifacts in to the one shot!
Honestly man this camera is a reet potato. I'm not normally a tin foil hat wearer but it's become utter garbage.

To be fair I was late to get the little one and mid awkward aspiring-middle-class walk/jog.
