Tight squeeze?

Spotted this a few months ago when i stopped for a brew in Rawtenstall...

Couldn't get pics but I saw three car transporters full of Audi R8s, one had a couple RS6 on for good measure too. One of the R8's did have something about Audi Performance Driving or similar on it, all of them had foreign plates but I can't remember what country mind. They could have either been coming from Ireland, Anglesey Race Track of ferry port I would imagine.
 
OMG OMG so today im just walking back to my car parked across the road when all of a sudden i hear a roar in the distance and look to my right and a black shiny Koenigsegg CCX comes roaring down the road, it was so load you could feel it in your gut. Everyone just stopped and looked at it.

I was to gobsmaked to get my phone out and take a picture lol. These things are ultra rare :D
 
Will need to get pic off phone, saw a 430 spider today, driver saw me smile and revved it up (in a non 'yes i have an expensive car' way - clearly knew i would enjoy hearing it :D )

the Gt500 at stock doesnt look like the car in gone in 60..

the car in the film was actually just a normal mustang with a bodykit (hey they couldnt trash so many of the real ones!) the only real Gt500 elanour was given to Jerry Bruckheimer after filming finished.

so it depends

if its got that bodykit. Its an elanour

if its a stock GT500, then its a GT500 ...

Where was that? What colour was it? Remember the plate? Dubai plates?

They are very rare, even just seeing one anywhere never mind the UK

Thats becuase it isn't a vicious Sports car. The Skyline is basically a Japanese Ford Mondeo and comes in both 4 door and 2 door non tarmac eating monster forms and has done ever since the first ever Nissan Skyline.

What you saw was a Nissan Skyline V35, the Japanese Mondeo Coupe.

Probably was, Ive always thought the old skylines had a relatively aggressive look, this one looked very normal, i actually had to check it was what i thought it was.
 
Thing to remember, is in Japan the Skyline/Stagea is a normal everyday car, loads of engines and body styles available, everyone just loves them because of GT-R badge.

thats a bit like complaining the escort 1.2LX wasnt as agressive looking as the escort cosworth

exactly the same deal

lots of run of the mill boring versions, and one or two top end tarmac eating monsters

It was black, had english 07 plate on so it must have been pretty brand new. I spotted it in Duffield, in Derbyshire. There are quite a few rich people who live there (my uncle being one of them).

I know that guy who was on 5th gear owns 2 Koenigsegg CC8S but i thaught he was the only one in the UK to own a koenigsegg, today ive been proved wrong.

Damn was it sexy though, its high gloss black paint just reflected everything, it was like liquid lol.
