Saw this at silverstone, Oviousley its not a M3 estate (as they didnt make one ;)) but i thought they did quite a good job. Had the M3 brakes , M3 back box , M3 19 wheels , M3 bodykit inc mirrors and little silver grill. The interior was completley standard. Really wanted to know if there was an M3 engine under the hood :D

I wasnt sure as to what it started out as mate. It had the M3 brakes and M3 quad pipes :( ( I knew they didnt make a M3 touring , just thought it might have had a engine transplant )

Looked the reg up - you've got to inform the DVLA if you change the engine size afaik and besides, if you were going to do a conversion like that diesel > petrol is surely more difficult than petrol > petrol? It's a 320d.

Its really bad when you see E36's with that side grill mod, makes me feel :o for them :D
 
Your supposed to inform them, but not everyone does. And if your going to the expense of doing all that, diesel -> petrol wouldn't be that much of a problem..
 
Thing i didnt understand was why it had the M3 quad pipes (Exactley the same look as the normal M3 ) And then the M3 brakes ( im pretty sure M3 brakes aint in the options list )

I guess the owner was at Kingston uni. Its up for sale now, so maybe he has left.

I was driving past the Uni last week and 2 cars are coming fast towards me, they both do handbrake turns into the entrance of the uni, and the 2nd car hit the first car :D (they were 2 cars filled with asian lads)

Was very humerous, especially as the car behind me was a silver atsra with blue lights on the roof and police stickers on it :D

He certainly isn't at my bloody campus (kingston hill) *grr*

We do not have so many badboy asians as Penrhyn Road, although we do have our fair share of riced cars. Oddly however, our car park seems to have a multitude of £10,000 + cars. There are a few porsches etc.

And Will Gill the 285 is a legendary bus.
