Well it is registered at the DVLA as a MR2 so someone better tell them
I think your defintly right.
They dont look like 355 wheel seither, panels gaps seem a bit big. And looking at the rear wheel arches it seems well off.

That MR2 perversion is better than most, but it's still quite easy to spot. The biggest givaway is that the front lights are set miles too far back on the bonnet. On the proper car, they are right on the front edge.

The dimensions are all wrong arent they, would be way more obvious in real life

edit:

Ferrari 355 -
Length (cm) 423
Height (cm) 117

Toyota MR2-
382.25
120.5

So half a meter shorter, pretty noticable but I guess it could be made up with a bodykit

Some s.o.a.b. getting his/her porsche "in the mail" after servicing

(the driver of the van looked a bit lost as he did a 3point turn in the middle of a doubleside-parked road which was a miracle in itself, not that anyone waiting for him to finish cared :p)

It's the width that gives them away.

There was a Ferrari owners club at the Southend Airport openday last year. There were two really nice older Ferrari's can't remember what were now.

However right in the middle was a bloomin MR2 with a 355 kit! Why on earth would they let him in the club... unless they didn't know.

Apart from the fact he's about 100 time more likely to get hijacked? Just like driving around in a high performance car, you are more likely to get hijacked.
