Post Your Daily Encounter Pics Here

id imagine they are but thats what he does for a living so why not abuse your works equipment and get it making more!

Certainly looked the biz!

Not sure on standard figures?

I also believe they are still pretty rare over here!

Guy who works at a garage in the unit opposite us came to work in this today, been saving it for the nice weather obviously. Talk about mint, there's nothing on it that isn't perfect.

how old are the people coveting E type jags

I'm 26 and they dont appeal to me at all. Dont get me wrong, i can appreciate the design and heritage in the car, but drum brakes etc.. just dont appeal to me.

The owner I would guess is in his 60s, I'm 22 :P

I won't say there are cars I wouldn't rather have, but this thing looks stunning. As you say, it's purely a design/heritage thing.

I think they are beautiful cars, I know what you mean when you say 'bits of it aren't all that appealing' ...but I don't look at one as an every day driver really.

Just look at it though, it has an elegance and a beauty of form that you just don't see anymore, I guess Aston Martin comes the closest ..but even they don't quite measure up anymore. Incidentally I’m 25 not 65 :D

If I had enough money to fill a 20 car garage with whatever I wanted, I would have a series 1 E-Type Coupe, the late 1964 model with the 4.2l engine :)

I so hope you're trolling... nobody cares about the brakes! Look at the thing...

Gorgeous 350LC at Box Hill yesterday.
Dude had done an awesome job restoring it. I'd love one of these again. So many were destroyed or broken for spares there aren't many around these days.
He's done the wise thing and upgraded the brakes and fitted a fork brace. The stock 1 pot calipers were rubbish but even their pathetic stopping power was enough to make the forks go for a walk around the headstock.

That looks very clean and loved, I like it a lot. I'd love a bike like that but I'm not old enough to cope with the image just yet I think. My dad used to have a tuned BMW R65 before I was born which is of the same vein.
