Gorgeous 350LC at Box Hill yesterday.
Dude had done an awesome job restoring it. I'd love one of these again. So many were destroyed or broken for spares there aren't many around these days.
He's done the wise thing and upgraded the brakes and fitted a fork brace. The stock 1 pot calipers were rubbish but even their pathetic stopping power was enough to make the forks go for a walk around the headstock.

Too much bling on it. The originals looked good enough without having to put all that crap on it.

Saw a black GT-R on the way to work this morning. My god, they have quick acceleration! It was very loud. Sounded like it had an aftermarket 'zorst on it.

I love the MK3 Cortina, I think they are great looking cars. I think that one is a 2000E too, with the vinyl roof, very rare now and the most desierable MK3.

how old are the people coveting E type jags

I'm 26 and they dont appeal to me at all. Dont get me wrong, i can appreciate the design and heritage in the car, but drum brakes etc.. just dont appeal to me.

All E-Types featured independent coil spring rear suspension with torsion bar front ends, and four wheel disc brakes, in-board at the rear, all were power-assisted. Jaguar was one of the first auto manufacturer to equip cars with disc brakes as standard from the XK150 in 1958.

I'm not a massive fan of the mk3. My dad had a yellow mk3 gxl before i was born and he called it the flying omlette because it zap quite floaty. I like the mk1s and 2s better.

I saw a Cayenne for the first time actually moving a couple of weeks ago... it really did shift. I just coundn't comprehend something that big moving so fast till I saw it!
