Post Your Daily Encounter Pics Here

I mentioned this ages ago, but there was a guy running around in a blue Audi S8 near me a while back, owned a local IT business.

The reg of his car was "S8".

Last time I checked I think he must have switched cars as the reg was on a rather large engined Merc, think it still is.

I do see an R8 around here in Bristol fairly regularly, it sounds awesome. Luckily my flat is just on a junction, so I can hear any nice cars pull away should they pass!

Apparently still is. It doesn't say which though, only 'Limousine', so I'm guessing S Class.

Obviously you can't tell with such a cropped picture, but that sort of car parked on the drive of what looks like a very modest house looks pretty ridiculous, if you ask me.

I am sorry but YOU cannot tell what kind of property that is from that photo at all. It could be a massive house. You can never tell. Also that is not a road in front as look at all those loose chippings.

Chippings? I suggest you test your eyes. They're stones.

And, to test your eyes again, re-read my post. It has a clear caveat. But it still LOOKS like that from that shot.

Very nice R8 V10 there. First in the thread isn't it?

It could be a dealer demo / test car from looking at the cover over the seat.

Is there any main differences visually apart from the small badge and the wheels between the V8 and V10?

I think the front grill is chrome as well.

Doubt its anything special, but it grabbed my attention. The guy drove it like a 90 year old would do though... Very very slowly! Still couldn't get a good pic though :p

Hang on...

Just been going through the last page of the thread though and seen that an almost (if not) identical car was at a Preston motor show? Could be the same one perhaps, my poor photos were taken on the M60.

That car is owned by the mum of my best mate's ex. She owns some sort of florist chain IIRC, and the house is very nice inside, although it's not that big.

Sadly to say, her daily drive is a Citroen C1. :(
