It's a tidy 530d Sport in a fantastic colour in what looks like great condition. Whats the rolleyes for?

He's doing nothing of the sort. If he was trying to do that it would be badged as an M car and say 'M5'.

He's obviously proud of the fact he's got some ACS interior tat and the car is a genuine Sport and hence covered in M-Tech tat from the factory so he's added an ACS and an M badge to the back.

OTT? Perhaps. Passing it off as something its not? Absolutely not, it's a genuine Sport, and the badge isn't an M5 badge.

As for the M3 plate... just wow at the hostility there. Perhaps his previous car was an E36 M3?

If you wish to pour scorn on misbadging morons direct at Jamoors photograph - THAT is passing a Sport off as an M car.
 
I say a Porsche Cayenne the other day with the reg of M3 OUKE, obviously thinks it is an M car, probably cant afford the real deal ;)
 
Perhaps he sits in his 530d Sport dreaming of the day he can own a rusty red Fiesta and then fantasise about it being a Y plate Zetec-S with lexus lights.

In the meantime, he has to be content with an M badge.

I REALLY hope so, was an older late 40s man driving it! Front end spray wasn't a bad job, wasn't rattle canned or anything. Probably cost a bit!

The best one I've seen (not sarcastic, it was actually awesome) was an M5, looked and sounded like the real deal as it hooned past me - the plate was "M5 GRR" :D
