Post Your Daily Encounter Pics Here

As well as what looks to be a AC Schnitzer badge on the bootlid there also looks like a Nurburgring decal on there too.

Maybe the owner has been to the Ring, who knows?. He might even have bought all his badges over there!!!. :p

Why do diesel pipes point down like that?
so that they blow the black smoke downwards into the road rather than into the path of the car infront.
it also goes some way to keeping the bumper clean

aye i can see that, but it's hardly worthy of a post in this thread
although tbh half the crap in here isn't worthy of a post in this thread :p

well obviously it's a 530d, you can tell it's a d by the exhaust.
what did you think it was?

it has an M badge on the back as it has the M pack.
the number plate is irrelevant

The M badge is in the wrong place, for a start. And my oh my, loving his M3 plate on his supposed M5.

Reminds me, I saw an 'M5' at my local shell garage on friday, thought something didn't look quite right... walked around the front and it was wearing an M3's bumper

BMW didn't put that M badge there.
AC Schnitzer didn't put that AC Schnitzer badge there.
and i'm guessing the Nurburgring didn't put their sticker there either..

it's his car, he can stick the M badge where ever he likes
it's in no way pretending to be an M5

and regarding the plate, it's just a plate! maybe his name is Mark or something?

Just been chatting to my neighbour about his latest purchase.

Sounds gorgeous on startup. He's absolutely over the moon with it. Parked it in works car park on the first day with it, when he came back there was a crowd of people all wanting to sit in it, and talk about it etc..

As he quite rightly said, you could have spent twice the money on new mercs etc.. and not got half the attention he does with the RS. Whether you like the attention or not is another matter.

Anyway i'm thoroughly chuffed for him, he scrapped his old mk5 escort rs2000 4x4 on the scrappage deal to get it. His old one looked something like this

He'd been struggling with the rust for years, overhauled the brakes several times etc.. and bits were failing left and right centre. He's a member of the RSOC and kept the car 100 % stock so truely devoted. He was beeming from ear to ear bless him.

They should send out Ray Liotta with a list to check up on these reproducing M badges :p

AC Schnitzer didn't put that AC Schnitzer badge there.

Probably down to the lack of AC Schnitzer parts on the thing ;)

He's trying to pass it off as an M-car, so the badge should go... where the badge should go! If the badge goes where the badge shouldn't go then that just shows that the badge shouldn't be there...

and regarding the plate, it's just a plate! maybe his name is Mark or something?

Then he should've got M5 EOR and completed the faux-look! :D

Baiscally, if you can only afford a 535d, get over yourself and live with your 535d. Don't be pretentious and try to pass it off as something else, it's crasser than Mr C. Crasston from 42 Crassington Heights, Crassville.

Such a good idea!

it's not a 535d, those didn't exist on the E39
Fox stuck an M badge in the same place iirc, and he's hardly passing it off as an M5
