Post Your Daily Encounter Pics Here

:D

It'd been there overnight judging by the frost! She.. sorry... the owner (bit presumptuous there :o ;) ) might wanna get it recovered quick, else it'll be stripped for parts no doubt! The thought of a 1.8 20vT engine conversion in my 5 did cross my mind.. ;)

No idea on cost, i would also need to rebuild the rear diff and rear suspension (aka cut the back floorpan out).

312mm discs, Boxster S brake lines, Brembo 4 pot calipers and redstuff pads.

I did it because my car is over 60bhp up on stock figures and has the weight of the QE2, so after a few hard stops the brakes would fade, stock discs and pads needed changing, i got a good deal on some Porsche calipers and brackets, plus i wouldn't fit in if i didn't have 312mm discs, its a right of passage.

Once i changed the discs and pads the 5's brakes took lots of abuse with 0 fade.

Good setup and i was only running grooved discs combined with green stuff pads, no fade on the road, faded on the first lap of the ring, till they bed in then 3 laps back to back with 0 heat issues.

spotted on way back to depot, bit risky in this weather.

out of interest, what do you do for a living booner, if you don't mind?

I am part of a team which act as an agency to a few large high street computer game retailers and publishers to ensure the get low cost marketing materials. I started out by opening new stores for the retailers and now work in mixed role which puts me in a position of working with graphic marketing materials at an early stage through to retail/launch. We would source and assist with everything from a major marketing campaign for a title launch/xmas/easter etc or just kitting out a store with unique POS, all pretty exciting stuff.

A recent campaign for modern warefare2 allowed us to budget for kitting out large stores with army kit and distributing limited edition stuff to drive hype around the launch of the title. We then used autographed copies of the game and posters to provide added value to the people queuing at midnight etc.

^ Part of my hand delivery for my local store for midnight launch. Can't fit much in the boot!

I've worked my way up over the past 3 years and it's something I never saw myself doing before I started (I wanted to be a pilot!). :)

his is ferrari yellow and he was on the waiting list for 6 years!

Followed a yellow Gallardo with black wheels in the snow tonight. Seemed to get along just fine considering I was snaking all over the place at 10mph.
