Post Your Daily Encounter Pics Here

Isn't the point of the van meant to be as economical and practical for the job as possible?

Precisely. Just like this one below. Practical and exactly the right one for the job :-

I'm in Lincolnshire on holiday at the moment, dangerous close to Norfolk. There's a lot of complete sheds round here, but I have seen a few nice cars around. I saw a Maserati in Spalding town centre and a new Aston Martin out and about. I saw a Golf GTI with a Y reg plate - Y at the end of the plate. I saw a Pontiac GTO which I think was a sport coupe, judging by the pics at Wikipedia. I saw another muscle car today in Boston which had 'GTX roadrunner' on the back, suggesting a Plymouth, but which had the Shelby logo on the hubcaps, so I'm not quite sure what was going on there.

The owner of the b and b we're in has something like 9 old cars knocking around here, in various states of disrepair. There's a nice looking old purple A reg (end of plate) Rover 1965(?), a couple of old MGs, a Morris Minor 1000 in really good nick and the newest car here is a C reg Mercedes of some kind.

Why is it ive never got my sodding camera on me when things happen or I see a car worthy of interest lol...

Yesterday we popped down to torquay and on the way there was a small traffic jam on the a380, nothing too bad but caused a bit of road rage between an old guy and a lass. They got out and started gobbing off at each other lol. Later on during the day saw an old blue mk2 ford escort with scabby wheel arches doing the rounds. Then saw a nice ferrari in red and a few old classic cars from 1930 ish. On the way home heading back to exeter near some pub there was what looked like a track car of some kind but defo road legal, the driver had a full racing suit on with helmet, was rather gutted I couldnt get a picture of that one. Then coming down telegraph hill a yellow mr2 had been pulled over for speeding, looked quite good from what I managed to see of it.

I still can't get on with the looks of that car. I think the bonnet looks all wrong and the lights are ugly.
