It's a road car with the bodykit. Obviously a DTM car would be quite hard to convert for road use.

Crazy to think these command £30k plus now. Pic looks great to me, as does the car.

Have to wonder if they really are all that, especially considering the stock model was the worse Escort of them all.

That's fine because only the roof and interior is Escort. The rest is Sierra with Escort shaped panels over it.

That's fine because it's a Sierra 4x4 floorpan with a couple of inches chopped out and a some basic Escort body panels adapted to fit. It's a custom car, manufactured by the coachbuilder Karmann.

Some poor quality pics from Nice

Heading to Monaco on Sunday so will try to get some better ones. The standard of parking and indeed driving here is crazy, reverse until you hit the car behind and forward into the one in front seems to be the norm.
