He said it's quite slow by modern standards, it's 220 odd BHP but weighs around 1200KG. Even still 0-60 is a tad under 6s. When we went out for a convoy drive he asked me not to accelerate too fast as he can't keep up :p

It's not about power/speed in cars like that though. The noise alone and sense of drama make it feel like you're pushing on silly digits  That's what driving enjoyment is all about.

Sub 6 second 0-60 is still pretty quick in the real world. Especially in something which can put all of it's power down on our crap tarmac.

Even talking about 0-60 hints you don’t get it.

Hey now.... Only mentioned to set context as part of the fun/performance discussion! Hell even my M3 is not fast compared to today's hot hatches and turbo Ms but the sound and feel is  - Hence 6 years on it's still being used regularly.

In acme's chair.
Hahaha

What do you thank that would.be worth? Fee grand to a RS 6 owner?

Three character plate which rolls off the tongue nicely and has "RS" in it, an easy £100K+ to the right buyer.

Several similar plates have sold for between £100K and £200K, "2 RS" is currently up for £102K, "4 RS" is currently up for £150K having sold earlier this year for £74K.

It is sat on a car worth maybe £500.
