• Competitor rules

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Post your DSR and VSR sreenshots here

You just argue with me, because it is me. I tried to explain what is what (as did Martini) and you didn't and still don't get it. Sometimes you have to do things for the greater good of the community and if it involves a bit of work, do it or don't bother. The thread is here for people to show off what their GPUs can do and achieve. If you can't be bothered to find out how to downsample without losing quality and instead just want to act thick, be my guest and post the images how you like. I don't care.

Lol OK, I said from first post how to view images without zero loss of IQ, and without any messing about resizing images.
I clearly understand how it works or I wouldn't of shown away how to view them would I.

its blatantly obvious which is the better image it takes all of half a second to see.

look at detail in gun and phone lines ;)

the way you are telling people to do it means the web browser is doing the resizing...which way is more likely to show a decent comparison of the real VSR/DSR?
for ease of use the OP's way is easier for everyone else, and probably more accurate

but lets all just do everything a different way to make comparisons pointless

Resized with MS paint. Is that ok?

Well, even in the tabs, neither are actually 1080p, they're still being scaled by the browser.

Ok so a man makes a thread saying hey guys post up a word and make the text red.

Someone then post up some text in blue.

First man gets told he is doing it wrong....

Eh....it was his thread, don't like the idea or the way its done, don't post. simples

On a different note Shankly has said just open them in a new tab. Well I'm using IE as my main browser, so unless I'm being a bit thick ( which of course in entirely possible) the only way I can see to do it is.

Open spoiler tag.
Right click image.
Select properties.
Highlight the web address.
Either use control 'C' or right click again and select copy .
Open a new browser tab.
Paste clipboard into Address bar, again either control 'V' or right click and select paste.
Press return.

Now maybe it is much easier in other browsers, I don't know, but I do know that just posting up a link to the image that we could have middle clicked on to open in a new tab would have been so much easier and probably stopped most of the argument in this thread. ;)

After seeing these, I'm convinced to move to 4K as soon as pos. 1080P looks garbage, 1440P is nice but 4K / 8K is where it's at, the image quality is so much cleaner / sharper.

I need a 4K monitor in my life. Dell IPS 4K here I come !!

Do you want to know the really crazy thing? That'd be as fast and as easy as possible.

Well the idea of the thread was to show off your DSR images and VSR images and however you wanted to post them was fine by me. It looks better if they are resized without losing quality but that is up to the individual if they want to do that or not. Shame that didn't happen and it turned into another trashed thread but I should know by now that this is the norm for OcUK GPU section.
