Post your first console/computer......

Acorn Atom
Type your own games in spend 2 days debugging them and then realise they arent really any good anyway.

Followed by CPC464, all these rich kids with there colour monitors, green screen was where it was at! followed by a TV modulator the size of 2 house bricks that would need retuning every 20 mins.

Then i went off into Amigas and then PCs and my brother went of into consoles.

First console i had was a playstation which i bout with my first graduate pay cheque (maybe I should have looked at the overdraft and SLC but I still had student spending habits then)

I certainly recall my parents owning the OP's 'console', or at least something that looked very similar too it.

I also had a vic20 for my first, with blitz

Same here. My parents used my Vic 20 as much as I did. Along with Blitz, Falcon Fighter and Gridrunner were two other of their favourites. Still in the loft somewhere too.

Apart from the smaller handheld devices such as Astro Wars etc. I had a binatone.. But I guess my 1st proper console was an Atari 2600 VCS.. No need to post a pic of one of those.

My 1st ever computer though was a bit of a rare one.. The Oric Atmos..

Fortunately I soon came to my senses and sold the damn thing and replaced it with a Speccy 48k so I could play more than the only 4 games it had for it..

From Speccy to Atari 800XL, to C64, to Atari ST, to Amiga 500, then SNES + Megadrive, to I think a Jag? Then PS1, DC then PS2 / XBOX and well now to the current ones.. PS3/360 & a wii.

Also handhelds had the gamegear, original GB, GB Color, GB Advance, PSP and DS's in all of their various forms.

C64, gutted my dad gave it away after we got a PC. Must have had close to 100 games for it. I still remember the Commadore Format magazines with the tapes stuck on the front :)
