fothsn, you need to sort out spaker placement..

They aren’t my speakers mate they just a temporary thing :D My room is in the process of a revamp, I'm mounting the TV on the back wall and getting a smaller black glass unit below for my Xbox, amp etc, should be done by next week with fresh pictures :) Just need to find a decent 2.1 set up to mount on the walls.

Greetings all,

I just received my Kodak Z1285 Digital Camera today so I finally got the chance to put up some pictures of my 'modest' Desk/TV/Entertainment area. I'm by no means an expert with a camera, so please excuse the low/average quality.

Below: Pretty much all my working hardware, apart from the redundant Sony CRT, which I can't seem to sell for love nor money, Main TV Sony KDL-40X3000 mounted on a Vogel wall bracket, Monitor Dell 2405FPW, Sony 32 Widescreen CRT (which BTW weighs heavier then my 3 desktops, keyboard/mouse, printer, LCD TV & monitor combined :)), Xbox 360, 3 desktops, 1 spare, 1 server low spec, main work station is Dell Dimension 9200 modified with Q6600, MSI 8800GTS 512MB 700Ghz, 4GB 800Hz RAM.

Bit more of a closeup of my desk, this is usually about the distance I sit when watching HD movies on the Sony LCD. Although I mainly use the Dell monitor for my normal desktop work, when playing games I often use the Sony as it is superb as a 2nd monitor and with 100Hz, great for games, I just lower my chair and recline it, the entire screen is just in full view for me, Crysis is indeed a submerging experience like that :).

A snapshot of showing normal desktop view on the Dell and full 1080p HD of Ratatouille on the Sony.

For sound, I alas cannot use my 5.1 surround system (basic unit bought with Dell 9200 show next to desk on the left in 1st pic) as the neighbourghs have complained too often so I use a Medusa 5.1 Surround Headset, shown in picture 2 surrounding my phone, which is doing a pretty good job for me.

Thats about it, any questions are welcome.

Thanks for viewing.

Cheers

PS Just a few more images incase anyone is interested, will just post the links

Nice...but those electronics deserve better quality speakers tbh. And need to be at ear level, if you're using wall mounts I take it fairly high up?
