Recently a topic popped up in the PC games section with an individuals gaming benchmarks. Needless to say, it got flamed to hell. But it got a few of us thinking how useful/interesting it would be to see benchmarks from OcUK users, all in one thread.

So, post your system specs and recorded benchmarks here. Please, only constructive criticism and no flaming!

Free benchmarking tips/tools (feel free to post yours!):
- Fraps is a benchmarking, screen capture, and real-time video capture utility for DirectX and OpenGL applications. In combination with free game demos, it can be a great way to benchmark performance.
- The Crysis Benchmark Tool enables benchmarking of Crysis. It works with retail and demo versions.
- Unigine Heaven DirectX 11 benchmark 2.1, the first DirectX 11 benchmark.
- Stone Giant, a popular DirectX 11 benchmark.

Hopefully we may get a few members posting their own results, this should spur them on.

Regarding the tips, I always bench at my max resolution of 1680x1050, it seems the most popular too. AAx4 and all maxed out unless it's down to tessellation - then normal levels or very demanding game - where I lower the AA level.

I think most ati users benchmarked thier cards almost a year ago when they came out, i'd hope that cards 7 months newer would be faster, cooler and more power efficient. 1 out of 3 isn't bad i guess :p

Yeah thread was dead, I thought I would resurrect it and give others some incentive to post and keep thread kicking..:p all in jest of course.

RavenXXX2 is 1680x1050 max res your monitor supports?

Yeah, I could fire my rig on my panny 1080p but what's the point, NEC 20WGX2 image is amazing so I stick with it.

Bigger res is required! You have 460 res territory!

Denied, you try playing justcause 2, metro 2033, crysis/warhead, ARMA 2, GTA4 with max IQ with AA at 1680x, be lucky to keep a 50 fps average, so why should I up my rez to kill my fps in the demanding titles. lol what would a 460 be doing in the mentioned games at 1680, some of us don't judge performance by COD games.
