Just wondering.. how much does everyone overlap by? I tend to overlap just over 50%, is that too much?

Generally I overlap them by around 20%. But the greater the overlap the smoother the stitch will be

My first try with my 50mm 1.8.

I think it might be a litte too soft, and the car's not quite central... but I like it

I like it too. I feel almost guilty that I haven't got the nifty fifty yet. Just how good/bad is its AF performance, bokeh etc?

I haven't really had the chance to play with it properly, only got it a few days ago

I agree the car is alittle soft. Also the roof of the car looks like it steps or is that just my eyes?

I did it using an old Sony DSC P120 camera (I think that's the model name) and just standing around taking pictures whilst moving the angle slightly without a tripod. God-bless Photoshop and content aware fill

Benjo, it will definitely look better if you rotate to straighten the lines horizontally. Otherwise the passenger side could do with being better exposed to bring out the detail in the shadows but it's nicely stitched.

I like my shadow in it, needs straightening and a slight crop to remove the shadow and I think this'll get printed.

Its quite a few shots, think 12 in all. Original can be found here...
