Updated from EMT01B6Q to EMT02B6Q date my previous post, no issues.

I just took a backup and told mine to update, it came back saying "Selected firmware update folder is invalid. Please select a valid folder"

Getting this again on 4.9 :/

My 1tb drive still says latest firmware, on EMT01B6Q, but don't the 1TB drives use a different controller?

only the 1T 850 evo uses the same controller has the 840 evo`s all the other 850`s use the new controller.

You must update manually magician software to version 4.9.5 then check for new firmware and you will be prompted to update. I just did. No problems so far.

New version is EMT02B6Q
