true - its about 4 years old actually and frankly, so is the system its powering to some degree.

Im literally going to order that PSU if you think good enough however.

I dont really have any mates near where I live that have alternatives I can try which is a right pain
 
thanks Stulid - is 550 Watts ok for the time being? I wont be going crossifre or SLI so im guessing 600W+ is not necessary with todays power supplies?
 
well now this is just great.

Not only did it cost me £15 quid odd to send the damn thing back to OCUK, they then charged me £10 to test it and then a further £10 to send it back and £5 on VAT.

Im basically now £40 DOWN on the deal with literally nothing to show for it and i still need to buy a new PSU just to see if it works. And if it does not, just opening the packaging to any new PSU will render it none refunable if it turns out its not a PSU issue.

Sometimes you cant help put feel like every man and his dog is taking a right royal leak on you.

Anyone else able to give me an idea for a good power supply? May upgrade the gpu at some point so please bare that in mind. Thanks!
