Power to Mick Lynch

Kay Burley has come across awfully from that interview. To think she tweeted it out saying Mick Lynch was flustered. He wasn't, he just couldn't believe the absolute nonsense he was being asked.
100% , & her and her status/influence holds the power here, yet she chooses to dream up nonsense to make regular workers look bad. How on earth can society not see those in power are corrupt, lying cheating shysters, people don't go on strike lightly.

I mean sure he's had some unfair questions, being asked if you're a Marxists is irrelevant and stupid for example - however, Rail workers are paid a lot and are abusing their position as vital workers by striking seemingly without any hesitation. The only people being punished are the public, the strikes are so ******* bad for people who are forced to use trains they're not proportionate to the actual conditions rail workers have. They're not being used as a last resort, they're being used as a go-to; and frankly the railway is terribly run anyway compared to the rest of Europe. Probably because a large part of the money must go to pensions and inflated salaries.

Really research this , they are not paid a lot, if it is badly run it's the mad Tory desire to privatise everything that's resulted in this, don't fall for the nonsense, who would you believe, Bojo or any of his cronies, like that galoot barefaced LYING on TV.

So, devils advocate here as I'm on the fence about the demands and strikes.

Let's say they get their 7% that they are asking for... Do we give teachers the 10% they want and nurses the 15% they are asking for?

They have been offered 2% , 3% with strings, its derisory given inflation is circa 10%, and remember it's the utter goons running everything who have got us here.
Where are all the protesting voices when MPs get massive increases and milk expenses, at least these workers are a net gain to the country.

Not sure what your reply has to do with my question .

Do we give them what they want and therefore also accept the 10% for teachers and 15% for nurses that is apparently being asked for?
Because it's relevant?, and no, a decent offer and fair negotiations would be a start. Why not offer 5% , that's a 5% pay cut, would that be ok?

You're missing my point so perhaps I haven't been clear.

You obviously feel very strongly about the Rail pay and conditions (not sure if you work for them hence your veracity in the discussion).

Do you think the pay/conditions that the union is asking for should be given in full?

I don't work in that industry, I simply feel very strongly that we are run by a corrupt cabal basically.

No, I think 5 or 6% would be about right & most would accept that for the greater good, that clear it up?

And the rest of their conditions to be met - no modernisation and no compulsory redundancies?

I`m not familiar with the finer detail you allude to regarding "no modernisation", I`d need to see the exact detail of these points from the union to form an opinion, not Grant Shappe et al.

I wasn't aware I was your research intern.

It's all over the news and, in fact, is stated quickly in one of the Twitter posts you made on the first page... I assumed you listened to them fully?
Not sure why ure getting huffy with me?

I did listen to them, I didn't hear anything about unions demanding "no modernisation", you said it, not unreasonable to ask you to show me the source.
I feel people are misunderstanding the way I'm coming across.
