Power to weight ratio of your car?

You can understand why people are sceptical when you quote the bhp figure as the bhp per tonne figure, not mentioning that it has nearly 500bhp or how much it weights, then when questioned you come up with 498bhp, and you're proud because it came from the stig.

Pics, rolling road printout etc?

Toyota Starlet GT Turbo

130bhp stock, mine has a front mounted intercooler, uprated cat-back exhaust and relocated air filter so would probably be a bit more, probably around 140. For the sake of this, I'll use the standard figure. (Plus the engines are getting on a bit now).

Weight in standard trim is around 860kg.

151bhp/tonne.

How are we working out weight? is it still 1016kg per 1 Ton?

Pulsar 315bhp/1180kg

Hoping to get this down to 1100kg but I don't want to throw anything important way.

I think that should be 272 per ton~

Toyota iQ 1.0, weighs ~908kg and 67bhp - which comes to around 74 bhp/tonne.

Being a small car, with me in it, the bhp drops to 69!

Still, I got it not because of it's power, I got it because I like it. Happy Face Car!
