I've just switched back to corded. We've got tiled floors everywhere and a robot vacuum which mops, so the vac is just for adhoc stuff. I've got a small handheld Einhell and did debate buying either the Einhell/Ryobi stick vacuum to avoid issues with batteries dying, but in the end got a Cecotec coded model (spanish budget brand). Was only €50 but i felt fed up with constantly spending a fortune on hoovers and them never lasting, no matter how often you clean/change filters. Figured i'd rather just buy cheap and replace often.
