Had a look doesn't seem to be on offer unfortunately and whilst they look good and not that expensive I'm slightly perplexed at the conditions of the lifetime warranty.Halford Advanced stuff.
Great price / quality ratio and lifetime warranty. Thinks it on better than half-price offer that often runs also atm.
Sockets themselves do go. The ratchet rewind kit is a few quid.Had a look doesn't seem to be on offer unfortunately and whilst they look good and not that expensive I'm slightly perplexed at the conditions of the lifetime warranty.
*Should a Halfords Advanced Hand Tool fail whilst being used for the purpose and in the manner for which it was designed, it will be inspected and replaced. Simply return the product to your nearest Halfords store with proof of purchase and we will arrange a replacement for you.
So the only part that is realistically going to break being the ratchet mechanism but that's not covered? Hmm not sure what to do.
- Proof of purchase is required to validate the Lifetime Guarantee.
- Misuse of the product will immediately invalidate the Lifetime Guarantee.
- Moving parts are not covered for wear and tear under this guarantee.
Sorry not too sure what you mean by sockets and where would you purchase the rewind kits from?Sockets themselves do go. The ratchet rewind kit is a few quid.
Ah ok I see what he means.I think he meant a Ratchet refurb kit - The ratchet action does wear out if used every day for years - so you need a refurb kit for whatever ratchet you bought - I doubt you would ever need to buy one

I've had two sets for over 20 years, no issues.I've had some Halfords Pro ratchet spanners for longer than I can remember, easily 10 years, probably over 15. They get used regularly in a professional bodyshop environment (which is harder on tools due to the abrasive dust that gets everywhere) and I've never had a single issue. I really wouldn't worry about the warranty as if they're still made as well as mine you'll never need it.
Can anyone please recommend an electric circular saw for occasional DIY? I was looking at the Evolution one on Amazon for £60 which is reviewed well but thought I’d ask first before buying it.
Thats really very kind but I need a reasonable amount so I'll go ahead and buy them on this recommendation. Cheers!I can highly recommended corefix after using them recently tto hang kitchen cupboards on a dot & dab wall. Very secure and I wouldn't think twice about loading the cupboard with lots of heavy stuff.
In fact I'm sure I have a few left over. If you only need a handful let me know and I'll throw them your way.
