Powerizers

I've just taken my first steps around the house with them on. It feels really weird, especially the extra weight on the legs. I managed a few strides without grabbing onto the wall but I really need more practice outdoors.

I love them though, that 5 minute session of clumsiness was excellent :D

I think I'll have to take you up on your offer of lessons.

I need quite a lot of practice on my new springs as well. They are very different to what I'm used to. I need to adjust my technnique to get a decent bounce going :)

I had my maiden voyage outdoors just now :D
I waited until it was dark and there was nobody around for obvious reasons, I didn't want to look like a buck eejit. I was a wee bit wobbly on the harder surface but soon got the hang of it. I walked out of my complex and onto the main street, walked up and down there a bit and then dandered back. I attempted a jog on the way back and managed to keep my balance but any more and I'd have been on my arse.

I haven't fallen off them yet which is good as I can't get back up without something to grab onto :o

My legs feel really strange now, almost as if they powerizers are still attached. I just tried to bounce out to the toilet there but had to walk normally.

For anyone thinking of getting these...DO IT!!

:D:D

One of the Guys I work with...

He cam into the office one day with his dad (one of our Directors) and made a fool of himself on film for our Last day Christmas party!!... :D

I'd never do any extreme sports like that where you might break something... that;'s just stupid.

;)

I'm trying to picture a skydiver with Powerisers, could be interesting :D

Scuzi, you're looking pretty confident just standing and menouvering, so looks like you're making reasonable progress. Now all we need is decent weather :(

Hehe it could make landing fairly interesting! :D

Since we're doing videos, here's two from me practicing jumping over a fence:

- FAIL!

- Win!

BTW, that surprisingly difficult to do, especially when your legs are weighted down.

Ah you'll be ok as long as you land on your wallet ;)

I did that when Burnsy was giving me a lesson a couple of days ago and now have a big square bruise on my leg. I'm also nursing badly bruised ribs, possibly fractured, mostly due to my immense fail :D

I still love them though :D

I've had mine ages now but soon got bored of them. I think it was a mixture of looking like an idiot and the crappy english weather. If we have a good summer I'll get them back out. Otherwise,

Powerizers for sale - scuffed but work - £100!

I still can't believe you got those injuries :D

You're nuts if you go out without at least wrist guards. Anyway, when you start seeing some air you'd need it if it went wrong ;)

Burnsy

You are right actually, well, about the wrist guards, many a time I wished I was wearing them.

The helmet thing though, I've seen air and then I've also seen my face heading for concrete. Its an acceptable risk to not look any more of a knob then you generally do (not you personally)

Anyway, a helmet indoors?
