As to the haters, i know in all the posts i have worked in, companies have a standard IT brief they give to new employees about company IT policy. I was just hoping, this been a geeky and friendly place, someone could help out with something similar.

As part of my many courses i have had to do many presentations, so it's no drama doing another.

10 Minute Presentation so maybe 8-10 slides, each with very basic info on it. Then you just need to talk. It isn't hard.

Explain what a threat is. The effect of a threat. Types of threats. How to prevent. Conclusion (Maybe do a little quiz with a prize). 10 Minutes gone easily.

Maybe you should have seen my productivity rate soar when I can use programmes that make my job a lot easier instead of the outdated junk most companies lump you with (my work still has Office 2003 FFS).

My 'hacking' has only benefited the companies I've worked for.

Not saying they didn't help you become more productive

but its this reason that companies are moving to thin clients and either RDP or citrix with no CD/DVD drives and the use of USB devices to be banned in order to stop such activities. If you are using "pirated software" the company its self then can face legal action for your actions by allowing you to install that software without permission on a unmonitored network.

Just saying watch yourself and the law thats all bud.

if you came to an interview with me and I recognised your presentation as one "borrowed" from the internet... end of interview. seen this a few times now. suffice to say the interview lasted less than the stated 2 hours.

Sure, I realise that. I just hate personally knowing I'm working with ineffective tools. I've been known to go home and work before because of it.

I suspect the police have bigger fish to fry to worry about me.

Back on topic, I would create the slide show yourself and if you don't have Microsoft Powerpoint I would use open office http://download.openoffice.fm/free/?pk=10305

You will be able to save the document as a Micosoft Powerpoint file so that it will be compatible with their systems.

He's not asking how to create it, he's asking help on the forum for someone to help him to 'find' a power point presentation so he can talk about his subject during his interview.

Shame, such a disappointment on the OP.
