Pre-Order not arrived

Was this Fifa 12 from Tesco? If so the same thing happened to me, they said they are out of stock and don't know when they will dispatch it. I just cancelled and asked them to close my account as I have no interest in using them again. I'm just gonna use a more trusted and reliable shop next time, should have read around before I decided to pre order from them, lesson learned.

yeh was from tesco, i just cancelled, spend hours on origin chat trying to order through them, and that was an epic fail, so go it from another digital download store. tesco proper messed up their pc release versions as when i asked instore they seemed unaware of a pc version being in their system.
Sorry, I know the thread has moved on from this, but I have to ask - what the hell was the point of this post? First of all, lets say the OP is impatient (and I don't think he is), so what? He is the one making a purchase, he is entitled to want it to turn up prior to the weekend and to be disappointed when it dosen't. Are you telling me that you have never been excited for something, or planned for something and then been ****ed off when its not happened when you thought it would?
Secondly, he is clearly not "literally crying", he is posting a potential problem and asking what solutions are avaliable, so why say it? I ask because I was going to dismiss you as just another troll, but a troll would normally get banned way before the 3000 post mark.

so when there is a back log on BF3 and everyone that pre-ordered it doesnt get it in time for release date, and posts emerge, you will tell them they are silly and just to wait. even though the company says its not even been picked ready for dispatch, so it will be atlease 3 days before its even shipped?
sorry, if it seems petty to you, but im not a huge FPS fan, things like F1 2011 and Fifa 12 are games i look forward to. and when i pre-order something, i atleast expect to be able to play it on day of release, not wait atleast 3 extra days.

i tried to buy through origin, but it kept saying payment pending, even though at no point did it ask for my paypal details. after a long time and 4 attempts trying to buy it with the help of their live support they said that they didnt know how to resolve it so if i waited 72hours someone would contact me and try to finalise my purchase. again, this was no use to me, so i found another respected digital download store and purchased through them, for £5 less, so overall it was resolved on the friday evening. just disgusted that no store within a 60mile radius stock a single copy on pc, my pre order via tesco hadent even been picked after 10 days, even though they quote 4-5 working days, and then even origin/EA themselves couldnt sell me a copy.
it worked out ok in the end and i got my game. and yeh, maybe you all think im being petty, but can you all honestly say if you pre-ordered BF3 or some other huge release in the hope to play it on day of release to end up being let down and dissapointed and told it would be atleast 3 days after day of release before you get your pre-order, you wouldnt be a little bit miffed? or am i really the only one.
