Whats going on, just turned on the Liverpool game see they are 1-0 down, then Poulsen/greek dude try to kill a guy between them, and Shelvey then decided to put his arm around a guys throat and then use that to throw him to the floor?

Have I missed some prevoking Galatasaray fouls, or are Liverpool just in a bad mood?

Also wait, what, didn't Felipe Melo end up at Sao Paulo with Denilson, wtf is he doing in Turkey?

I suspect its fringe players trying to show that they are eager and passionate. Galatasaray almost have their first team out and we almost have our third team out, not too surprised how the match has gone so far.

Its strange to see Kelly at CB i know its his natural position but him at RB seemed normal.

From what I've seen nearly all South American referees use it, it does the job too.

It's a bit silly in European football when the referee brings the wall to 10 yrds and then they all start shuffling forward the moment his back his turned, they usually mark the ball as well because the free kick takers sometimes move that to create a better angle.

We've been truly shocking at the back throughout pre-season. We badly need a LB and a backup CB with more ability than Kyrgiakos.

Aquilani looks like he could be a great player if he put himself about a bit more.

Very, the one consolation from this is that it hasn't been "liverpool" on the pitch, most of these players are definitely not first team, some probably won't play a single league match all season.
