Pre-season Football 2011/2012 Season

So happy about this Liverpool performance.... Don't think the scoreline reflects the game though. Carroll's looking back in it and getting stuck in after some poor performances during the pre-season and praying Agger stay's fit because he's some player.

Interesting to see Downing and Mata on the same pitch as each other and based on this I'd pick Downing any day of the week!
 
Confused with Adam has he signaled to come off as he just kept staring at bench for a few mins :confused: either way is coming off Flanno on. It is nice to see few of our youth players on the pitch though they have really emerged and made a mark in the last 6months :D
 
Good story in one of the papers the other day highlighting how Dalglish is finally giving youth a chance after Benitez never did. Used Robinson as the example saying he would've never played under Benitez :o

Solid performance. Attack was a little limp at times, Henderson and Aquilani didn't get involved as much as I would've liked, but Adams, Downing and Carroll all played well. Pass by Lucas after only being on the pitch for a few seconds was sublime :cool:
 
Solid from Carra and Agger. Good performance from Kelly.. Lucas was great second half.
Downing was good, Henderson and Adam were poor..
Carroll still looking poor..

Still, least we didn't concede :D
 
Seriously other than Sagna being caught out of position yet again, does anyone, ever, make so many passes and crosses that are blocked by a defender standing less than a yard away. Sagna never makes any room for himself, anyone else would shift it right/left a yard, whatever, then pass/cross, Sagna just looks like he can't be arsed and just hits the guy infront of him with the ball.

Just after I posted Rosicky did another ridiculous stupid foul, its a friendly ffs, he was doing that all last season, he's taken up this petulant streak where he randomly does these absurd things, again as just now, with no direct danger in the slightest. He's gotten crap, and started fouling a lot for no reason.

How we can get rid of Bendtner/Eboue, and keep guys who get games and don't perform I really don't know.
