Pre-season Football 2011/2012 Season

Another truly ridiculous, inept pass from Song, this team just has no shape, it has no, spark, it has nothing. Kick it long for Gervinho, thats about it, the commentator is even peeing me off now, he keeps talking about Gervinho's great LATE runs into the box. In behind the defence, or first into the box is an EARLY run, late would be Lampard coming into the box behind everyone else and getting a shot on, he keeps saying it.

In this particular line up, with current injuries and likely losing Cesc/Nasri, this is about our strongest line up. Song, Sagna, Gibbs, Djourou, Rosicky aren't good enough and never will be, Ramsey has potential but we need a Wilshire to dominate midfield to give him some space as on his own he seems to get caught out a lot, Gervinho, potential in this side, not sure.

RVP is quality, but isn't remotely a lone striker, and without Cesc pinging in perfect balls for him, he's been barely involved.
 
Why was Garay laughing when RVP was on the floor? And then walking away smirking after he went onto the sidelines? Dirty ****er. :/

Pretty dire first half in all honesty, the only person trying to be creative is Gervinho and so far he's been ambitious but rubbish. Defence has been absolutely dire as usual, Sagna thinks he's playing up front.
 
Ryo is such a breath of fresh air, he can do people on the wing, gets in the right places down the wing and, looks up, and puts the ball at an Arsenal players feet in the box.

Jesus we were lucky there, Frimpong pretty much threw himself to the ground for no reason and got a freekick out of it.


In Ryo/Wilshire we have two guys who, with Wilshire much closer, look like they have the potential to be at Cesc's level, but Wenger stabotages us by insisting on keeping Song and Diaby rather than looking for another two guys with potential to replace them with.

This is how Arsenal have played for ages now, when the other team doesn't offer much our 4-5-1 just about works, when the other team pressure us, our 4-5-1 can't hold the ball upfront and our defence is just a joke.

Rosicky with a woeful pass there, a couple mins after getting on the end of that Ryo/Ramsey move is it, back hell to Rosicky, and he wasted it with a stupid pass. I liked old Rosicky, current Rosicky is a waste of a paycheck.

Joke defending again, 2-0.

Squillaci is so god damned awful, take the hit, be embarassed sell him for 1-2 mil and buy another CB, Kos is injured and not great when not. Djourou isn't very good and injury prone, Verm needs a solid partner, get one ffs.

We went from Toure and Gallas, to Squillaci and Koscielny, wtf is wrong with Wenger.
