Great finish too. Been a long time coming, we created a bunch in the first half (could have been 3-0 up in 5 mins) but didn't take them.

Kostas doing the hybrid LB/6 role in the 2nd half is a bit of a surprise. I can't imagine he's going to ever do that in a competitive game and it's just for others train the system but it'll be interesting to see how he does.

It's difficult to read too much into early pre-season games as sometimes players are just asked to play in a position because you don't have the numbers but it was interesting to see Gakpo play in the 8 today. He played there one game late last season (Fulham or Brentford?) and we could have easily played him through the middle with Jota on the left today so maybe it's something Klopp has in mind for the coming season.
