Does anyone have any experience buying from AliExpress?

They appear to have the chassis of what I'm after, but I get the impression from the specs that they are made for RC but have none of the wherewithal to actually make it work (as in, I'd have to get a separate RC receiver module and controller).

Thanks for the steer, do you have experience with building these? I have a bunch of questions and would really like someone I could bounce ideas off. Do you perhaps know a specialised forum for RC?

I don't sorry...the stuff I bought from BangGood was quadcopter FPV stuff...cameras/transmitters/recievers so maybe silmilar to what you need but was just a passing interest...also 3-4 years ago...
