Predators (3) is definately happening...

Well...I really enjoyed it but didn't go in with massive expectations. Can see why a lot of folks are annoyed and letdown but for me the only two things that annoyed me were the CGI on the big explosion with the russian guy and...SPOILER...


on the trailer Royce gets something like 10 targetting scopes on him, only one in the actual movie.

The thing there is that he's been a great writer/director in the past (see Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang etc) so with his attachment to the the Original film you would imagine he'd want to protect the franchise and improve it yet he seems to have dropped off a cliff with that abysmal attempt at "The Predator".

I mean I genuinely heard people groan outloud at the god-awful Dad joke of "Get to the Choppers" and then chopper-style motorbikes being shown, it's was just (to borrow a modern term) so Cringe!

Yeah, both Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and The Nice Guys are genuinely good movies - however he made one of the worst MCU films as well. His style of humour and obligatory child characters just don't fit for a Predator style movie unfortunately, he should really stay in his lane.

We also had an audible groan at some of the humour, I went to the cinema with my best mate who's favourite film is Predator so you can imagine his frustration. I think I laughed more at his reactions than the 'comedy' in the movie.
