Personally think we'll get a repeat of last year, Max wining drivers and McLaren likely winning constructors (assuming they've made some further steps forward, which I hope this new look McLaren would have).

Would it be nice to see Lewis win? Yes. Do I think he can, no. I don't think Lando's race craft has matured enough to do what's required to win a drivers title yet and LeClerc is too error prone, personally think he'll be one of those drivers who retires as a "should have won a championship but never did" drivers, obviously a pure speculation prediction given how young he still is :p but I'm old, I've watched a lot of drivers.

Max, just for the wind up value. Will be interesting to see how RB perform since McLaren and Ferrari caught up with them last year.

I voted Lewis, but that's got a heaping of wishful thinking perhaps. I do think Ferrari will be ahead, but I think Leclerc is the more likely to benefit.

Voted Max. If the teams are more even, he’s just the better and more consistent driver of the lot.

Otherwise Charles or Alonso would be cool.

And gets preferential treatment and the whole team behind one driver. Big advantage when the teams are close.
And? Should they have allocated more resources to Checo? It might offer some advantage, but he has it because he’s the best driver on the grid at the moment.

The other teams are more even in terms of driver talent, and lack a sacrificial donkey.

I voted Lewis as a few above, it’s mostly wishful thinking. Let’s all will it to happen :p I still think Piastri has more grit (and race craft) than Lando when it comes to it, but Lando towards the end of last season showed he was naturally faster, so who knows. Maybe they’ll take more points off each other than other partnerships.

It’ll be interesting to see how Lewis at Ferrari affects Leclerc’s performances. Leclerc will generally be faster in qualifying but that hasn’t stopped Lewis winning championships before. I’d love to see Ferrari fighting McLaren for wins all season.

If Max is in the picture for wins then the below is true.

It depends whether the FIA are going to address driving standards in a consistent manor.

Going off the performance of last year, I think it could be anyone from Verstappen, Norris, Piastri, LeClerc or Hamilton. There's an outside change for the Merc drivers but they still don't seem to be on top of their car after however many seasons so think they'll continue in the same vein of picking up a couple wins, few podiums etc. but not really being title contenders.

Verstappen is a known quantity and difficult to rule him out.
Norris / Piastri - hard to call which is in with a better chance. They were very close last year and it would only take a tiny swing for Piastri to be ahead of Norris. I think Piastri has a better chance than Norris if it comes to an elbows out fight.
LeClerc / Hamilton - a tough one to call as we've never had a clear head to head. I think LeClerc is probably faster these days, especially in qualy. Hamilton has tended towards better race pace and LeClerc has in the past pushed too far over the limit so in a title fight could older more experience heads prevail?

So in the intra-team battles, I'll predict Verstappen, Piastri and Hamilton to win. The championship will go to whichever of those 3 has the best car.
