Premade Bundle vs Making my own?

Also I guess Im going to get a new HDD + optical drive but Im uncertain of what to get. (this is going to be quite expensive already D: not even considered graphics card pricing :c)

I'd say definately go for self build if you can do it. You'll feel proud of what you've created.

Definately do your research into the components either way. There's lots of pitfalls to avoid when buying from your average computer shop: cheap psu's, old technology (socket 775 still on sale I've seen), and you'd want Sata III and other niceties.

Yeah Im going selfbuild now I do believe. Just got to wait for the Ivy Bridge before I blow most of my student loan on building a new rig ahah xD

If going the self build route i would advise to buy all or as many items from one source as apposed to saving £5 on an item by buying different parts from here and there etc..
Then is you do have a problem and you think an item is faulty you do not need to worry about 1 retailer blaming another item being faulty that you bought from somewhere else. and vise versa.

I get what you mean :) most of my items I will probs get from OCUK tbh. Since the prices are about the same as S**n. And OCUK has damn fast postage xD
