I'm all for supporting your club through thick and thin but I'm struggling to see the point

You didn't sit back after the goal at all mate. You were penned back. That was the worst United performance at Anfield in over five years.

How come your £90 million attack couldn't beat our sub £10 million defence?

You asked a question and answered it in the same post, well done :)

Silly question. Didn't you get beat by Grimsby?

:/ How can a team beat a team where one player = their entire squad :p

Ha, in your face yet again our rich bitches:cool:
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of football we played at times considering I thought we'd struggle with our injuries but we were very composed without the ball and controlled the game with it.
Lamps and Carvalho were awesome, Deco had a quiet game, Mikel did a good job but showed his inexperience by getting stranded upfield a couple of times, Malouda and Anelka were their usual ***** selves (imagine Chelsea with good players in their positions) and JT's red was a joke, 'serious foul play' Halsey has called it now apparently.
On the whole quite impresive really:)

What a disappointing performance :(
As most would agree, Liverpool were worthy winners.
What I found quite worrying however was how they seemed to want it more.
We sat back after the first goal, didn't get the second - handed them the equaliser and invited them to come onto us. Which they did. By this point, the game was always running away from us - the momentum was all Liverpools and they never gave it up.
Still, as well as they played, I have to feel SAF didn't do us any favours.
Did he not vow to use Rooney in his preferred role? Because I'm pretty sure right wing for 90 minutes in our biggest game of the season so far makes a liar of him.
It was always a gamble to begin the game with him and Anderson being asked to provide the width. But I can understand the desire to get your best players on the pitch.
I can't however understand why he seemed happy enough to persist in a formation/system that so clearly wasn't working.
Likewise, Carrick continuing for 10+ minutes was nothing short of a farce but I've seen injured players being allowed/encouraged to continue for us before.
Also, the game completely passed Scholes by, he could not handle it's speed.
Still, we should have had a penalty ;)
All in all, I found the managers selection and subsequent decision to keep all three of the attackers on the pitch a little worrying.
He will have Ronaldo to select soon and I hope he still has the courage to make the big decisions.

Bit of bother in Newcastle today and night...

Quite a lot of protest hangovers about tonight piling the drink in.

What a rubbish day its been, after a rubbish week or so, following surely by another rubbish week.

Turmoil to the max
