Sports channel logos, that extra touch of class.

Glad the Arsenal game is on early, means I might get to watch some of it before the wedding I'm supposed to be at at 3.

You can't watch 3pm Saturday games on TV in Britain. Unless you have one of those big fancy foreign-picking-up satellites, or a link to a less-than-salubrious internet stream.

A quick side thing.

I'm sure a few years back, Sky used to have all the Premiership coverage - Saturdays and Sundays as well as some weekday games as well.

Now a chunk has been given to Setanta - but who on Earth does this benefit?

As a household we pay over £60 a month for Sky - now we're expected to pay more for the games we were getting as part of the same package a few years back?

Benefits those of us who refuse to pay a fortune for Sky, but are happy to pay a tenner for Setanta on Freeview.

i think it's generally a good thing to stop the one provider having everything. i wish they could do a ppv though so on top of your normal subs you could watch any game for a one off fee of say £2-£2.50

The games that have gone to Setanta used to be on PPV for £8(?) per game or £50 for a season ticket for all 50(?) games.
