Goal line doesn't make it convincing, the playing is what makes the difference and we utterly dominated them, the problem as always is Ade.

When we scored there was one simple difference, Ade made a semi decent run into the box. You see it all the time with bendtner/vela/eduardo/rvp/theo in any combination, 2 players running into the box sends defenders in a frenzy trying to mark them leaving massive spaces for any 3rd runner into the box to find a bagload of space. But Ade is a moron, as is Wenger, he will do 3 runs a game and give up, he will chase down a keeper with the ball in the last 2 minutes but not the previous 88minutes, he constantly goes to the wing without the tiniest amount of ability to cross or go around people. His job, his only job is make good runs ACROSS defenders, not a straight run that people can see from a mile off and play him offside, the one and only time he did that today he helped split the defence and make the goal possible.

ALl our other chances are half chances and single player trying to make room things because Ade doesn't work like a striker, or a footballer. I can't believe we kept him at all, would happily have taken 5 mil, let alone 20 or 30. But to offer a player who obviously wanted off for money, an extra 35k a week for performances like that where he can't finish any of a dozen chances is a joke. Nasri looked superb though, strong, had quality, very hard to push off the ball great positioning. Denilson still gave it away to much, didn't do enough getting forward and really just shouldn't be there except for cover. Eboue, fabregas with maybe Nasri and RVP/theo/Rosicky on the wings would be a great great midfield, with anyone of our players but Ade upfront.


EDIT:_ apparently Fulham had an equaliser about half a yard over the line but wasn't given. respect to referee's campaign is it? why exactly?

The parts that I seen, if we play like that we aint even going to get into the top half of the table never mind challenge for 4th spot or get 5th again.
 
Skrtel has only just returned to training from an injury. Not entirely sure about Agger, Rafa was ****ed off with the performance on Wednesday and in particular how we dealt with Leige's long balls. Hyypia is still our best palyer in the air and by a distance.
 
We've got Mascherano, Lucas and Babel at the Olympics you have to remember. With those back our 11 and bench will look a lot better.
 
yes didn't liverpool and arsenal chelsea lose to boro at the Riverside last season? Not the best of places to go for the first game
