Every one of them was a failure so yeah, loads wasted. It wasn't loads. They had a net spend of 49M, 15M, 30M, 62M, 18M in the 5 seasons they were in the Premier League. 34.5 Average over those seasons. They had 500+ million come in with TV money.

Maxim Demin has no intention of spending thus sacking your manager two days before transfer window closes "fixes" that problem.
Feel sorry for Scott Parker.
Wouldn't too much. Parker knew what he was signing up for and his post match interview was just asking to be sacked. Sure he will get a nice pay off. But yeah good luck to anyone mad enough to take the job
Apparently 9-0 gets you sacked in any league...
Dundee have just sacked their manager after their weekend pasting too.
AFC Bournemouth can announce that the club has parted company with head coach Scott Parker.
Maxim Demin said: “I would like to place on record my gratitude to Scott and his team for their efforts during their time with us. Our promotion back to the Premier League last season under his tenure will always be remembered as one of the most successful seasons in our history.
“However, in order for us to keep progressing as a team and a Club as a whole, it is unconditional that we are aligned in our strategy to run the club sustainably. We must also show belief in and respect for one another. That is the approach that has brought this club so much success in recent history, and one that we will not veer from now. Our search for a new head coach will begin immediately.”
Gary O’Neil will take interim charge of the team, and will be assisted by Shaun Cooper and Tommy Elphick.
Everyone seems upset with his comments about "not being equipped", in what way was he wrong? They are.
It was definitely a public "told you so" moment to the board. He was right though. As you say, he knew what was coming but I guess he had spoken with the board and knew he could not do the job.
He got sacked for not wanting to be happy with defeat which shows how tinpot they are. I appreciate they need to stay financially solvent, of course, but you need to invest and speculate.
Is getting relegated more rewarding than staying in the league?
Any club happy to be taking the parachute payments then coming back up and going down again deserves to go out of business. At least make an effort to stay in the league.
I think it was intentional, he seems media savvy and knew what the outcome would be.I don't think anyone is upset, I found it quite refreshing and amusing at the same time. But calling out your pay master, whilst being streamed worldwide wasn't going to end well.
That is the approach that has brought this club so much success in recent history
Plenty of Managers have criticised the board and lack on investment on TV before.Parker shot himself big style, biting the hand that feeds him
Made himself unemployable, one bad loss and stabs everyone in the back.

Or be brought into whatever PL club is next to sack their manager.Nah, it was a win-win for him, they are going down with that squad, he won't have a relegation on this name, 2 promotions already, and he has the full support of most of the football world. He will walk into a big club in Champ.
Looking like Villa, especially if they get blown away tonight.Or be brought into whatever PL club is next to sack their manager.
Gerrard is 11/8 to get sacked next. Fill your boots
Has to be Slipeeee G next.
