While it's a pity for Ipswich, you can see why McKenna will be tempted to leave.

Ipswich are likely going to struggle this season, no matter what he does. If they finish 20th and have a rough season, he'll almost be back to square one as that's all people will remember. There's also a chance Ipswich sack him then anyway.

It's a bit different for Kompany as he was such a high profile player, but it's quite hilarious he's going to end up at Bayern...

McKenna is signing a new contract.

Looks like Chelsea went for Maresca over him. Not sure about Man Utd (made a separate thread for ETH & next manager discussion).
