I’m going Moyes. No signings but plenty of funds, lost their best player and captain, struggled last year, conference win good but let’s face it, we’ve seen Ranieri sacked a year after winning the premier league. No sentiment in this game.

A few bad results and I think he’s gone.

I’d advise anyone who’s picked ETH to never take up gambling

I think Brentford might struggle this season so Frank is a shout.
No idea if we'll struggle this season - I looked at the team photo of our trip to the US in preseason and thought it looked like the most non-Prem squad imaginable! So could go either way. I know that the club are aiming for Europe this season, so they're keen to have a proper go.

In the middle of our awful run the season before last - losing something like 7 from 8 - we gave Frank a new contract.

Not too dissimilar when we lost 7 from 8 when he first took the job and he was told to keep on playing the same way as it would come good. We've only sacked one manager in the last 11 years.

I think the club are much more anxious about him getting poached, but he turned down two soft approaches from top ten sides last season, plus other Prem sides, so hopefully we can keep him for a good while yet.
