wouldnt it be fun to have a thread where everyone predicts the top 5 teams and maybe bottom 5 or whatever before the season starts and have it stickied could be fun.. maybe :D

Got done last year.
It would be silly making predictions this early till the transfers were out of the way to

I would predict

1st - Manchester United
2nd - Liverpool
3rd - Chelsea
4th - Arsenal
5th - Newcastle
6th - Everton
7th - Sunderland

That's the top 7 i would predict.

*notes*
I don't think Reading can be as high in the table as last season.

To replace who? They ain't and wont be better than the normal four.
Agreed.

They've only come close recently because Arsenal have been poor by their own standards the last couple of seasons, can't see them being as bad again.

1. Chelsea
2. Man U
3. Liverpool
4. Arsenal
5. Tottenham H
6. Aston Villa
7. Newcastle

With a couple of crafty acquisitions, Villa will have a great season, and certainly be entertaining - in Young, Carew, Moore and Agbonlahor, the front line is lively!, add a bit more class, and 6th is well achievable

I personally think Chelsea is getting weaker now and they might/might not win EPL. I think it might be the end of Frank Lampard soon. Be glad Jose has not been shown the door last season. Because if he did, i would be dam sure Chelsea will not win the EPL for a while. Jose might be an ass with his mouth but his tactical skil is superb.

I hope Liverpool can win in next year but if all we are signing is the likes of Benayoun and Voronin, then I'm predicting another 3rd place finish with maybe a Champions League win!

I'll quote this.

Arsenal youth > Spurs youth. Fact.

Arsenal's youngsters have been getting younger better experience each season. The talent of those youngsters saw them outplay Chelsea for long periods in the League Cup final. Somewhere the Tottenham first team didn't even reach. Arsenal's youngsters are only going to get better too. Fabregas, Toure, Eboue, Clichy, Diaby, Walcott, Denilson, Djorou, Hoyte, Van Persie, Traore.... All those and more who have already had big impacts this season. Then add the fact Henry and Gallas were out for long spells last season and you can see that next season could be very promising for Arsenal.

I'd certainly consider them a very dangerous side this coming season. Especially now Rosicky has had chance to settle more. I think next season will see him having the kind of impact Pires did in his second season. I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do.
